got question for the tech's. my headlight went out and i am tryinhg to replace it . found the holder is fried. can i order one to replace it. or is this something that ya'll have to do

 

They headlamp connectors do melt. There are two wires that need to be soldered in. One would go onto bulb like normal and the other would connect to the pin on the headlamp reflector. Not much room in there to do it. If you are not comfortable with soldering, you may want to remove headlamp so you have more room.

 

dealers sell the pins. 2 connectors needed. they have been updated.. there cheap at the dealer..

 

lol.....about the only thing. I think they charge more for a fuse...lol.

The parts dept, may not know. You may have to talk to a tech to have them find the pins. In our shop we keep all the pins, not the parts dept

Bump moves threads to the top..But no..LOL, I just thought it was comical as to how many Headlight threads was going at the same time..this list I bumped was to the 1st of the year..not counting the HID and Bulb replacement threads..
