Looking at the car it appears the bumper may have to come off? Please dont tell me this is true. Anyone ever replace their headlight - primarily would like to discuss the drivers side...

 

Not an easy task. Doa search on this forum for more info. I took my car back to the dealer and they replaced the bulbs on both sides for free. Took them less then 1/2 hour. I supplied the bulbs, otherwise they charge you for them.

I want to take the entire headlight assembly off the car. I am going to be replacing both lens eventually.

 

Bumper off job to remove headlights

 

I guess this post should be titled how to remove front bumper...

My bumpers were just painted and I would hate to scratch them. Is the away to just loosen the bumper so I could slide the lamp out?
