Headlight self level explanation needed/Buck MR2
Hi Guys/Gals,
My 2001 2.5 petrol x type failed uk MOT due to headlights being too low.
I have looked at the threads on here and have gleaned some info, but I am still a little confused.
First of all I dont think I have HID as I have level adjuster on dash and no headlight washers,no mods have been done to lights either.
I have read that the leveling posts inside the unit are prone to breaking, however it seems strange that both sides have gone . The manual adjusters along the top of the front which have plastic Hex screws do not seem to move anything. there are 4 of these, 2 each side, does each one have it's own leveling post ? again seems odd if 4 have all gone at the same time.
I plan to take bumper off tomorrow to have a better look ,but any advice upfront would be great.
BuckMr2 ,Hi , I remember you from another forum when you had a Maroon 3.0l x type , you gave me some great advice on another problem, hope you can do the same here.
Thank you in anticipation.
