Climate control lights won't go off unit runs fine but the lights on the control head don't go off I'm not sure it's enough to Jill my battery but I am concerned..any idea why

 

Unless you give us some information about the car in question, you are unlikely to get an appropriate response. Is the car an X-Type? Year? Does it have a touch screen or the more common 2 screen system?……

And the display type? These cars came with either the navigation/feature display or a smaller climate system display.
have you tried disconnecting the battery and then reconnecting after 30 seconds? That allows the various component modules to reset. And when you remove the key from the ignition do you hear the tiny gate in the key slot drop?

 

I have messed with itva little t9day and this makes no sense buy the auto button was jamed when I got it turned off the lights go off now when motor isn't ingaged

 

Well, I cannot make any sense whatever from what you have written….want to try again?

 

Sure I just kept pressing buttons hoping something would work it went out ..I just went to store cut it off and it's staying on again 🙃

Ah…the photo helps because it shows that your car has been altered…whoever fitted that touch screen/stereo has messed up the wiring somehow. Sorry, but I can’t offer any reasonable suggestion about what he/she might have done.
