Please help, I have a jaguar x type auto 2005 V6 sports

My car wont move when I put the gear into D, R, 2, 3 , 4.

It happened one day when I was moving off from a traffic light. There was a kind of crunchinfg noise and then I just lost complete power.

Enging comes on fine but the car wont move in any gear. I am not reciving any messages on the display panel like gear warning light so i am not sure what the problem could be.

Is it Gearbox or clutch?

How much does it cost to replace a gear box / transmition
