So my 2005 X-type radio is beeping at me. Every few minutes, it beeps four times. This is happening while I am driving. The beeping gets quieter as you turn the stereo down. Any idea what it is trying to tell me. Thank you for your help in advance.

 

That happens sometimes when the your radio is trying to lock in a signal. You may have to manually adjust ...up or down a click or two. You'll get three beeps in a row every few seconds.

Do you live in area where your FM signals are blocked? Mountains or tall buildings? Does it beep when you have a CD in?
