Default Help with part number!

Hi can anyone help me with some part numbers, or official names, of no 14 and no 8 from the attached picture. The car is a 2002 Jaguar x-type 3.0 sport manual Thank you in advance

You're not going to believe this:

8 = Reverse Lamp Switch
14 = Mechanism

Item 8 is helpful but 14 must count as the most useless description I've ever seen in a parts manual!

Great description - Mechanism - will be very helpful when looking for it. Any chance to find a part no without taking it down?

From VIN (J22812) C2S47834
JTIS says it is Selector Mechanism

14 = C2S47834

P.P.S. For the 2002 model year part # were updated to the later ones.

I should have checked back for further posts before going to the parts manual. You almost got three posts with the numbers!

Reassuring we've all come up with the same numbers.
