HELP Please!
Hi. I have an '02 X Type. Last week I hit a huge pot hole ( right front tire), and now I have a red light and message on my dash that says "rear passenger door is open"..The door is not open. In addition, my auto door locks have stopped working. Does anyone have any suggestions? Many thanks!

I appreciate your response. The lock and unlock features on theremote do not work..the trunk and lights do....I have to use the actualkey to unlock the door, and only the driver door opens. I did notice if I manuallylock and unlock the lock on the door when I am in the car I hear a clicking noise in the glove box. Ive inspected the door latch on all of the doors and I dont see anything that indcates something is stuck or out of place. Is there something specific within the latch that I need to be aware of? Thanks again

When you take key out of ignition does it still chime? This would prevent the remote working to lock and unlock doors. If it chimes, put key back in and wiggle it out so the flap closes. If it works try spraying some wd40 in there. This would also indicate you have two different problems. Right rear door latch and ignition tumbler.
