Help please people
I have a Jaguar x-type 2.5 v6 petrol 2002 model, changed the engine, and clutch plate and bearing, now cant get any gears when engine is running, but can when engine is stopped, any ideas.
I know nothing about this car but it sounds like you are unable to disengage the clutch for the transmission to go into gear. I must assume that this car is equipped with a hydraulic clutch. Have you checked it to see if it has fluid and that it is working? Did you remove any of the linkage in the process?
