Hi
I have some issues with my nav unit
Can anyone please advise if you go into nav diag menu by holding Phone and menu button and enter 1971 pin the details the screen gives as in nav unit parn number and boot number and memory

Please do not mess with any setting as i dont want anyone to affect there nav but if anyone can help with the above

I tried it once, but didn't change anything.

 

I dont want to change any settings i just to need to know how much memory other units are showing and if they are in red and what ever the main summary page of the diagnostic page gives to see if this is the issue with mine

my nav will calculate a route locally within say 50 miles but if i try to calculate a long route over 100 miles it fails with "unable to calculate route" i have tried reinstalling the software several times but it still fails

it tries to calculate but when the green bar gets 95% of the way it shows the error

hence the request of the info

also i have bought the 2009 / 10 update disc and this will not install either as it gets 5% of the way and then system reboots and then tries to install again and then gets 5% of the way and reboots

I show 16MB in red on my 2004. I didn't have any issues loading the 2008-2009 DVD. I actually don't think i have used the navigation for a trip longer then 100 miles but I have never seen the error you mentioned.
