I have a problem with my X-Type auto-levelling of the HID lights and I am narrowing it down by eliminating each component. However I understand that I shall need to re-code the system once the fault is rectified - whether it is a harness break (likely) or the control module, or a suspension sensor. I am almost 100% sure it's not the stepper motor(s). Where can I get a scanner that includes headlight controls that is Jaguar compatible? The system is Hella and was fitted at least to the S Type as well. I am in UK but can source from abroad if need be. Thanks chaps!

I'd also contact iCarSoft directly and see if their LRII will do the same. I know it does abs, srs, epb, sas, I/M, EVAP, o2 sensors, module toggling, ecu reading, etc

 

Thanks Dell, I should have mentioned that I had found that thread but Lancer hasn't been on the forum for long time and I cannot see a way to send him an email or personal message. It may be that as a new member I cannot use those functions yet. Many thanks, though, for making the effort to help. I shall contact iCarsoft as you suggest. I already emailed Launch and Diagnostic World but with no replies as yet.
