Talk with Ken@brithishparts.com. He is a member here and if you send an e-mail to him, use the screen name, he will be able to tell you if he can get it for you (should be able to). If not, there is also Nalley Jaguar who sponsors here. After that, give http://www.jaguarparts.com a try. I have used Ken and he will bend over backwards to make sure you get exactly what you are after. Never used Nalley, but have used Jaguarparts.com (actually a dealership out of Cleveland Ohio). All 3 of those places should be able to get you what you are after.

There is a thread in the x-type section that has a member who 'fabricates' a replacement hood insulation pad also, for a good price. You'll have to search for it however. Its much more resilient, and has a jaguar leaper on it. Very cool...was thinking of having him do my XK8 but I have to send him a template first.

There you are! lolz, was searching around to get in touch with you. Do you make a hood insulation for a 03' S type R? On your bog site it say 05' and up is there any difference in compatibility for putting on an 03' S type R??More or less its the same as the normal S type. Please PM me or let me know through either way.
Thank you.
Heard a lot of good things about you from other members on here

Thanks!

Got your e-mail, I'll respond there as well.

Don't yet have the Jaguar S Type for the earlier years, as you know I do have them for the 2005 to 2008 models. According to car-part.com there is a difference in the style - 2000 to 2003 are the same hood up to VIN M45254, and then from VIN M45255 the 2003 and 2004 are the same. Was there a mid-year re-design of the hood?

I'd really like to obtain an original or a template made from an original so that I can offer them for the 2000 to 2004 years and along with the 2005 to 2008 that I do have I can cover 9 years inclusive. I have a procedure to send me a template if you know of anyone with an S Type like yours and I can e-mail that to you.

I'm always ready and willing to help as many car owners as I can, and I'm very glad and honored to do so in my small way to help with dressing up the underhood with my liner and decal.

Tbird, ran into this old thread about the Jaguar hood liner. Are you still able to provide these? I have a 2004 X-Type that needs replacing. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Update - found your website. Liner looks fantastic. Will be doing business with you soon enough. Regards.

Hello Xerxes! I sure am, you can of course find me as you indicated at Hoodliners.net - there was a contest that ended earlier today for one of my hood/bonnet liners that I was offering. It's now on to the S-Type and then to the XJS, XJ, XK8/XKR.

Please let me know if you have any questions!

Speaking from experience, I have seen a couple of Gonzos hoodliners in person, they are beautiful, much better than OEM.

Don't forget to get a custom logo on it!

Sadly, I just saw that Gonzo passed away in October. Business is on hold. Someone step in and carry on his fine work! Condolences to his family/friends.
