Default How do I get the washer nozzle out of the hood?

The tiny tube broke off when I was trying to wiggle the hose off to unplug the anti-siphon valve. Now it is a cluster f***. Thank you. --Tom H

Tom, open the hood and slide your fingers up near the nozzle. I forget if the clip is on the front or back edge of the nozzle, but what you will need to do is squeeze the nozzle on the front and rear edges and then push straight up. If you can't get your fingers in there, then you can push on the nozzle itself towards the bumpers and you will feel it move one way and not the other. After figuring out the direction, the side where you fingers are pushing to make the nozzle move, that is the side you want to lift up on. That will free the nozzle from the hood and from there you can pull the nozzle out.

...carefully so as not to break the pressure clip. Thats some big a$$ hole they cover and if you bust the clip holding it there you can't find anything to replace the nozzle except a factory one.

I was hoping it was a snap in but afraid to put any pressure on without knowing the exact arrangement and directionality. Thank you.
