My mates factory parking sensors are quite loud and mine are really quiet. Anyone know how to up the volume..?

 

there isnt a volume control on the bleeper

 

So comes mine is much quieter than my mates..? Both factory

 

dont know unless maybe a faulty bleeper??
You can buy new from ebay for 3 or 4 quid which is where I got mine from when I added factory reverse PDC to my x type

 

Was speaking to someone last night with an X Type who had his PDC module box replaced.He swears the volume was louder with the new one???

 

Can you or someone do me a favour please, on ebay.co.uk find me a link to one that I could get. I wouldn't know what i'd be looking for then I could find more.

 

There are at least 2 or possibly 3 different ones available and thewre may have been multiple supercessions??? with different sizes of connectors and different numbers of pins.When I upgraded my X Type I bought a PDC control module not knowing there were differences and it turned out the one I bought wasnt suitable.Think they are £55 odd from a dealer although prices vary depending on which one you have.

 

guys the answer is obvious.,.... you have 2 cars..

SWAP THE PARTS... check the part numbers and see if there is a difference.

buying unknown parts and throwing money at the problem is not very good trouble shooting.
