Hi All,

I am having trouble figuring out how to put the inside release cable back into the latch.

I looked at the Jaguar repair manual and it looks like it just slides in.

I attached pictures of the manual and a picture of my latch.

Any help would be great!

The "barrel" on the end fits into the hole on the pivot arm (in your photo, the hole closer to the bottom) and you sometimes have to like....have the cable lined up at about 7 o'clock from the orientation of your photo, fit the barrel, then swing the cable to about 9:30 and right where your fingers are in the photo you'll see where the plastic piece on the cable snaps in. Plastic piece grooved to fit into that little "cradle" right by your index finger.

Similar to how the cables go in for the hood latches.
