My 2004 xtype 3.0L 152,000 miles has many problems. Failed emissions.
P0171, P0174, P0101, P2096, P2098, P1111, P1000.
Put 2 O2 sensors upstream
Cleaned MAF sensor with cleaner
Had leak on 2 brake booster vacuum so taped it with black electrical tape.
Had leak on another vacuum line that goes to top of intake manifold near the brake booster check valve vacuum line. Taped it too.
Ordered plenum gaskets for upper intake manifold. Contemplating whether to attempt spark plug change. 2 yrs ago changed the intake manifold O-rings.
All codes still present.
Any suggestions?

Unhappy 05 81k miles huge trany problem

Transmission has a speed output sensor in it. if it goes bad, your transmission kicks into neutral at highway speeds. dealers solution? replace transmission for $6K. Sitting in driveway while i decide what to do next with it. Love the car but disappointed, only 6K out of warranty. Also drivers seat starts to rock due to a faulty seat motor, 2k to replace.

have a 79 XJS v12. not a single problem with it.

My '05 has ~73K miles, owned since ~36K miles.

Work I've had done:

46451 mi - wheel bearing
61271 mi - transfer case and drive shaft
64466 mi - rear control arms, driver's door lock replacement
65340 mi - hood release cable, 3xAlpine speakers, sway bar bushings

All done under warranty.

Stuff I've paid for: front pads/rotors (44700 mi), 4 tires, one wheel, oil/filter changes (7500 mi, Mobil1 5-30), brake fluid and coolant replacement, fuel/air filter replacements.

Plus having the dash removed, by the dealer, to clear a blockage that was allowing A/C condensation to run down into the passenger footwell - $500... =:-0

Needs: rear pads/rotors
