Default How many rear O2 sensors

I had both of my catalytic converters replaced on my x type 2002. Do I need to order 1 or 2 rear oxygen sensors? How many for the front?

Thank you, but I need to know how many. It looks to me that there are 2 O2 sensors at rear and 2 to 3 up front.

There are two upper sensors and two lower sensors; a pair for each bank. Four total sensors.

Thank you. I have found that ordering the parts online makes it far less expensive when brought to my mechanic. I read here that Bosche parts don't neccessarily always work, is that true?

The fault codes I received after having the catalytic converters were replaced are. P0420 and P0430.

Dittos to Alfadude.

The pictures in this post show the locations of all 4 oxygen sensors: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...4/#post1084601

And the pictures in the preceding post show the locations of all 4 electrical connectors to the 4 oxygen sensors:

Bosch, Denso and NGK oxygen sensors all work. Both upstream sensors are the same, and both downstream sensors are the same, but the upstream and downstream sensors are different (because upstream sensors are used to fine tune the air / fuel ratio, and downstream sensors monitor the health of the catalytic converters).
