Default How to disconnect rear ABS sensor cable

Hi-For a '92 XJS could someone tell me how to pull apart the rear ABS brake sensor wire from the main harness in the back of the car? Full disclosure I actually have a '97 DB7 but its the same part as for the XJS and I generally get better answers on this website than AMOC. In my car the terminus of the cable is under the rear seat and there is a locking mechanism (a reverse wedge for lack of a better description) which is preventing me from disconnecting the cable and replacing the brake sensor...

Thanks

Scott

Under the rear seat, right on the drive shaft tunnel there will be two barrel connectors, squeeze and separate. The connector is smaller than the hole in the floor pan. The grommet simply pushed out from the inside and the connector will transit through the seat pan.

Default Hi

So I actually squeeze the socket the plug has been inserted into? Do I need pliers to do this?

Thanks

Hand pressure will get it done.
