hi to all,

i want to renew my speakers because they are not working good and dont know how many watts maximum i can put to have a beautiful sound,
i still have the original radio with touch screen and navigation and dont know if there is a amplifier in the car but i dont think they are alpine

if you don't plan on installing an amplifier, you won't hear a difference in speakers >80watts. With that being said, you can install cheap 50 watt sony xplods from walmart (what I did) and they will work great and sound great too. The best part about the xplods is that they do not require a spacer so it's a very easy installation compared to getting a speaker that is too deep and needs to have a spacer in order to be installed.

so if i understand i dont have an amplifier in the car its the radio that amplifies ?
and i'm in france so no walmart here lol bt if you say 50 to 80 watts is the max i can put i will lookup here or on tha bay but whats the thing with the dimentions ? as far as i know they are 17cm large but is there any other dimentions to lookup to ? inner ?

 

You also have to cosider the depth of the speaker, otherwise it will stick out the door when you intall it.

 

loulizjag, the speakers in the front and back are 6.5" speakers and they can't be too deep otherwise they will interfere with window operation.
