Default Hub Bearing/Assembly Nut

I'm doing the rear hub assemblies today. What size is the big a** nut that holds the hub on? I know I don't have one that big and I need to go buy one I just want to buy the right size the first time lol. I've read both 32mm and 36mm. My guess is 32...

Help with this sooner than later would be greatly appreciated! Thanks folks.

Hi, I was curious as to what size it ended up being? I may have to do my bearings soon as well.
BTW I drove through your town a few days ago on my trip across the country. It was quite the Rain storm Saturday night wouldn't you say? My wiper blades looked like I was watching them through a strobe light, LoL!

It's a 32mm.

Bearing replacement was cake. The hardest part was separating the old bearing assembly from its mating surface as they were pretty much rust welded together. I used tons of PB Blaster and a combination of wire wheels on a drill to clean all the rust off the 4 bolts holding the bearing assembly in place. Everything I had read suggested that those boltss will probably break or seize but I got lucky. I took my time and made sure my 50 torx bit was securely seated all the way into the face of the bolt before I tried breaking them loose. I backed them out about a third, sprayed PB behind the face then threaded them back in and let it sit for like 20 minutes. They came out with no problems after that.

To seperate the bearing assembly from the mounting surface I went behind the dust plate with chisels and pryed the plate and bearing assembly out together. I got more leverage against the entire bearing assembly that way. The dust plate got a little deformed but it's soft and easily re-shaped.

That's great you got to see a little of Kalamazoo, even if it was through a rainy windshield! Lol Kalamazoo is a great place, I love it here. Did you stay or get to see any sights?

Unfortunately, I didn't get to stay long or do any real sight seeing. I had a schedule on my cross country drive. And I wanted to take advantage of the light Interstate traffic on my way to Chicago. I hit there early morning so I didn't have traffic there either. I had initially wanted to avoid Chicago. But I missed a turn and ended up there anyways, LoL!

I have terrible noise while in motion either from a worn bearing or from cheap tires (BCT S800) or a combination of both? So this may be my future project.
