No noises no cracks just nothing. So after trying reset procedure (I don't believe anything happened) I stuck a scope down defrost vent and found this


that is the defrost shaft broke off inside the box. Looks like a very flimsy flap construction.

Any thoughts on windowing the hvac box left side around the pivit to take out flap?

Anyone have dimensions of this flap?

Anyone in US have this flap for sale?



Also I have tried to spin it from the left side and cannot move it it feels bound up and thst may be the cause or it could be bound up because it's broken off now
