Ok, so I decided i need to install an acm for my ipod becusae im tired of dealing with the single cd. I an 04 xtype have the stock radio, no nav. Is there a way to install a cable that i can hide my ipod and control it through the head unit? My audio guy tells me there is one that it can be hard wired, but i have to control it via the ipod itself which i dont mind but id prefer to do it through the head unit. money is not really a concern, i just want to make the correct purhcase one time, rather than not be happy and making several purchases.

call the dealership with your VIN number and they will tell you if you can get the OEM ACM unit. Very nice and very cool!

 

If you love your ipod, get the ACM. The sound is awesome and well worth it.
