Default Idle engine

I just changed the spark plugs and cleaned the injectors on my Xtype 2003.
I made sure to put all electrical installations back in place.
Took the opportunity to do this cos I was replacing the water pump metal hose feeding the engine; it had rusted and was gushing water beneath the injectors.

My engine now cannot rev at all.
It takes a few tries before the engine starts now.
Acceleration is unresponsive.
I have gone over all fuses to make sure none is blown.

The car was running perfect before these works.

Any advise?

Check the two wire plug on the bottom side of the throttle body and make sure it’s plugged back up. The plug can be very brittle so also make sure the two wires are even both still in the plug

Hello Thanguar,
I have resolved the throttle idle situation on my car.
It was an electrical missing link.
Kindly get a good mechanical electrician to check your fuses and other related connections.

Your car should rev up just fine.

Regards.
Onielle.

Thank you, I had check my fuses, found no blower fuse. Did your mechanic tell you which wire or what fuse no#, is it in the engine compartment or under the dash? Thank you very much.

Hey! Hi Onielle! This is Thanguar, thanks for gave me the hint of wiring missing link; I found the culprit was the orange wire at the plug under throttle body, I cut them off and reattached a new plug in, it worked good now, but it's still far from drive able yet, there are missed fire from fuel injection issue I have to correct it, and alternator electrical out put. It took me five years to replace the engine since it blew the head gaskets.
