installing the leaper emblem, any tips?
Hi guys my emblem was stolen and i just picked one up on ebay, i bought just the top since the base is still on the car but now i realize i dont have the spring or whatever holds it together... Any suggestions? I might want to try and make it permanent so this doenst happen again.
Sorry to hear about that loss , I don't know if any sold or weld job to work but when doing such a thing you must be very very careful .
Another thing a very powerful glue but I don't think I ever seen such a glued leaper lol
Other than that , Arden's leapers are removable so when you are off to car , you can take it with you in case of any that nasty stolen incident

Could be illegal in some countries not to use a spring. I think it is there so that foolish pedestrians do not get disembowelled during their trajectory across the bonnet in a collision.
Wouldn't fancy having to pick all the bits out of the growlers little chrome teeth after that
