Default Instrument cluster slow after start up

hey there!, i have a little wiwrd problem with my 03 x type, when i start the car the instrument cluster does not read anything, bur aftee a few seconds it does.
dies anyone know what coul be the issue?

I'd get a good check on battery, connections thereof and alternator. An Interstate Battery store or Sears can help you with load testing of your battery. Checking and cleaning connections is DIY. You can check alternator operation with multimeter on battery posts with engine running. It should be about 14V. Pictured is an alternate tool choice for checking static battery voltage and alternator operation from inside the car.
