The past few days I've just been using the defrost. It does help, but the problem is not gone. With the defrost on, it just takes longer for the windows to fog up.
I've been trying to find how to get to the air intake flap to check on that... JG, can you send the bulletin to belgianalien@gmail.com?

Thanks!
K.

The carpets are damp. Snow is getting tracked into the car several times a day. We've got slush mats, but those are damp, too. I really can't hear much of a difference with the recirc on or off, so I think that might be part of the problem. I just wanted the tsb in case I decide to take the car apart to look at that air intake flap... I'm not sure I am comfortable doing that with a car I just bought...[&:] My wife might not be too pleased with that either[sm=chairshot.gif] ... Either way, I won't be attempting it until the carpets are dry... in a few months, looking at the weather here. I just wanted to tsb in case it was quite simple to get to the flap... which it does not seem to be[>:]

Either way, I just joined the forums, and boy am I glad I did... tons of great info on here! [sm=smiley20.gif]

Thanks JG, our guys had already blocked the recirc. door open and solved the problem. Hard to believe the "official" fix is superglue!

UPDATE!
Today: a balmy 22F compared to the single digits we've had in the past few weeks. Still fogging up a bit, but there's an obvious difference in how fast and how much. I don't know for sure what it means, but I thought it would be worth my time posting an update on it.

Later!
K.

Looking over the bulletin, just wondering, I have noticed that when I set the heat to blow on feet only with the recirc button on and off that air for some reason does not blow to the feet area. Even if I set it on face and feet I still do nto feel air on the feet. Could fixing this damper door also fix this problem or do I have another problem to fix?
