Default Intermittent CEL P0174, P0332, P1341

2002 x-type 3.0L

Seems to run fine, I've been jumping through fixing several issues. Replaced a dead alternator, then replaced the ABS module to fix the ABS light. Then I got a P0174 light, I did a quick check for vacuum leaks and used some liquid gasket to help with any possible areas. Reset the codes.

After that I got the Cruise Control not available light flashing intermittently, the light turned off. After parking and turning the car off/on, the CEL came on with P0332 error. I reset the codes, drove fine for a few days. Today I got a P1341 code. Reset it and also driving fine for now.

I have noticed (maybe in my head) that when the car takes an extra second or two turn over, that's when I know there's a code coming.

Thoughts?

Get your battery checked. The X type is notorious for throwing up codes if the battery is below par. Especially as you say that it seems to happen when it's needed longer turning over.

Battery is only 2 years old. I'll go get it checked to be certain.

Battery and alternator check were both good. Today I had the P0174 light come back on. O'rielly OBD report recommended replacing intake manifold runner control valve vacuum hose.

Don't do that until you read previous posts about the code(s) and fix(es). Check fuel trims.

Ya I read through the common leak locations, I'm going to do a smoke test to see what I can find. But I'm more concerned about the knock sensor and camshaft errors.
