Internal Lenses Loose from Main Headlamp
I got my X-Type back from my son who was borrowing it. I suppose 27 years old is too much to expect to somehow not damage a vehicle that was loaned to him, but that is another topic altogether. There are several things that I need to fix now, nothing really major, but there is one thing I noticed and I can't really find any info on what, if anything, can fix this issue. I noticed the right headlamp had the parking light was out (or maybe sometimes called side light? The one that is inside the same housing as the high beam). No problem, I thought. Opened the door and went to go feel for the bulb and lo and behold the entire inner assembly is loose from the housing. The left one is fine. Far as I know I haven't noticed any leveling being off, but I am not sure best how to go about fixing this. I mean I can probably figure out a way to plastic weld or some other such thing to hold it in place, but wanted to see if anyone had an experience with this and why it may be happening. Those headlamps are absolutely outrageous even used on eBay.

EDIT: So it appears it is the adjusters that are broke. I understand the repair, but curious if anyone could recommend the adjusters kit they used that worked well?

I found mine on ebay all those years ago.
Just type "Jaguar X-Type headlamp levelling kit" into the ebay search box.
I wrote a DIY guide of fixing this - however, this guide is for the S-Type, but it would be very similar for the X-Type, but I think it is a different kit:
