Default iPod/iPhone Aux?

Anyone know how to go about installing an aux for the iPod/iPhone to the factory headunit?

I think you have 2 choices.
1) the Audio Connectivity Module (ACM) from the dealer.
2) Some amps have the capability to accept an AUX input, so if you are going to upgrade the system, look for one that does.

Default I'm interested in the ACM

Will it work with my 2002 X-Type, I have factory Nav and after my cell was cut off (not GSM), I've been looking for another solution.

Let me know, and thanks

ACM wire in between the the factory CD changer (regarsless if it is factory installed or not) and the radio. Adds USB and aux ports. goes in the console.

Teck4Jag - I am interested in the ACM and I am interested in the DB optical cable that I have been asking you about through PM. I tried to respond to your DB cable offer and it said your PM box was full. please clear some out so I can communicate with you.

I'm looking to purchase an ACM for a 2006 Jaguar XJR to intergrate an iphone to the factory Alpine Nav / Cd Changer system. Anyone have one for sale??? I checked with my local dealer and they haven't stocked it since last year.

How much would it be to have the dealer install a ACM?

I did not ask the dealer for an installation price. I plan to perform the install myself.

There are countless online dealers that will be happy to sell you a brand new ACM. They're still available, so I don't know what your dealer's problem is.

I bought mine from http://www.jaguarpartscenter.com/.
