Default Jaguar Bluetooth cannot pair

Hi guys, I purchased a 2007 X Type a few weeks ago, loving the car but cannot for the life of me get the Bluetooth to pair with my iPhone.

I have checked on Jaguars site by entering the last 6 digits of the cars VIN to make sure it has Bluetooth fitted and indeed it does, if I search for Bluetooth devices on my phone Jaguar Audio shows up however when I attempt to connect I get a failed to connect message.

I have looked through the instructions and it appears all I need to do is turn on the ignition press the phone button then ##3#*# then the phone handset button, I should then see the message SIG displayed, however the only message I get is NO PHONE.

I really would appreciate any help

Thanks

Paul

Not all phones are compatible with the system. Make sure yours is by checking at www.ownerinfo.jaguar.com
