Basically the factory service manual in a computer program... has most diagrams you would need to diagnose anything with the car as well as system faults...
I found it here: http://www.cannell.co.uk/Jaguar_Work...uals/JCD-1.zip
You can download it, install it with 'setup.exe" (doesn't appear to run on vista though..). Once installed you select your vehicle type and year (only has up to 2003, but has XJ Range, XK Range, s-type, x-type and XJS.
hope this helps somebody as it sure helped me! ( I didn't even get the manual with my car ;\ )

downloaded and unzipped fine, but as stated in the OP post, set up will not work with Vista. I think it is because it is a 16bit program and Vista runs 32bit environment. Anyone know how to open this and set it up on Vista?

Have not tried it yet but know Vista will allow you to set a program to run in compatability mode. Which means you should be able to set it to simulate the native operating system. Do not know if this will work, can give it a shot later in the evening & let you know.

JMan
xp = x32 bit &x64 bit O/S.
Vista = x32 & x64 bit O/S.
So this shouldn't matter.
but when installing under vista try this.
1.) right click on the installation file (i.e setup.exe)
2.) select properties
3.) click on compatibility tab
4.) under compatibility mode make sure to check the box that says "run this program in compatibility mode for:"
-this will enable the drop down list then select. XP service pack 2.
This also works with other program that you might want to migrate to Vista
hope that work

I believe the current issue is not the OS, but the fact that the site where the download was found no longer exists or has moved.
