Arrow Jaguar type x400 camshaft cover/ gasket / spark plug replacement

This is my jag which I’ve looked after the best I could. Just bought a drivers side wing colour PEC which is ivory black which matches. So am gonna replace the wing myself. I also took the throttle body off yesterday and cleaned it up. Just waiting for a throttle position sensor which I got brand new for 38 dollars included shipping from states. One of the TPS SCREWS was worn out so I extracted it out still intact. Just waiting for it so I can replace it. Camshaft cover ignition coil screw insert was broken so I just ordered a replacement rocker cover (LEFT SIDE ) on eBay for £35. I cleaned it up thoroughly with degreaser. The mechanic wanted £250 to replaced both rocker cover gaskets so I’ve decided to do it myself tomorrow. Ill start with replacing the left side first then remove the right side manifold and replace the right side gasket with spark plug replacement too. I bought the gaskets and boss seals from MOSS, EUROPE LTD in Feltham for less than £50. I’ll keep u informed with my task.
QUESTION: can some one be kind enough to tell me as to why I have oil in my manifold. Is it due to a bad PCV VALVE. I looked inside the manifold and found oil sitting in there. Or is it another reason.

Sb10, odds are , oil is there because the PCV valve does allow a finite amount of oil to make it through. IT is possible that if you haven't replaced the PCV valve in the last 15,000 miles (25000 KM) that it is failed/worn out and simply needs to be replaced. IT is an easy item to change and cheap too.
