Does anyone have anything that shows what is covered for the 50k warranty?

I have a 2004 X-type 3.0 with 44k miles and was curious if anything needs to be done before the warranty

 

in a nutshell, anything but wear-ables are covered. these items include things like brakes (pads and discs), tires, wiper blades, etc. the things that normally get used up in everyday driving.

 

Have you looked into extending the factory warranty?

 

ALWAYS a good idea about the extended warranty. Especially with early X types.

Funnily enough, I've ben having a few problems with my 02 as of yesterday / today and looked into my extended warranty. Lapsed about a month ago[&:]
Just took out another one today though

I just got an extended warranty yesterday. Got it covered til 190000miles and until 2012 whichever comes first. got a pretty good deal on it too. I currently have 40200miles on the car, and a year left of the original warranty, but i cudnt pass this up. Paid a total of $2200.

 

Nice one 04 although I'm guessin you'll be selling before you reach 190k? It'll be a good selling point though for sure and cover your *** in the meantime, so its ALL good
