Default jaguar x 03

I just bought a jaguar x 03. It is manual but it won't shift at all. What's the problem? I hope is not the tranmission.

Welcome to the forum mvargas7647,

I've moved your question from Jaguar Forums Feedback & Suggestion Center to X-Type forum. Members here with the same model will be able to help.

Please follow this link New Member Area - Intro a MUST - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the New Member Area - Intro a MUST forum and post some info about yourself and your vehicle for all members to see. In return you'll get a proper welcome and some useful advice about posting to the forum.

Welcome to the forums. There is wealth of great information on here and a lot of friendly people willing to help. However, it would help if you gave some more specific information about your situation.

Was it running well before it would not shift and the problem happened suddenly?

Was it like that when you bought it?

Any check engine lights on?

Any other issues with the car before this happened?

Any work recently done to the car just before this occurred?

I'm sure you get the idea. The more information the greater your chances are of someone being able to point you in the right directions to solve your issue.

Well, as the owner of a manual X-Type, I have a question for the questioner since he has given us no context: while trying to shift, you ARE depressing the clutch fully, yes? With the engine OFF can you shift through the gears?
Any sign of fluid leakage?
