Default No start with "cruise no available"

Hi guys, had to get the AA today as she cut out & wouldn't re-
start. I noticed the ''cruise control not available'' and amber
light came on. The AA finally started it but admitted he had no
idea because it was nothing he had done. The cruise warning had
gone too. So I get home and, safely in the drive, I try to start it.
Nope! cruise warning back on and no start. Any ideas please?

2.00 SE 2012 btw

Have been advised to check/change crankcase breather pipe
