Welcome to the forum Kingjay!

Swing on over to the X-type section and ask your question again.... Bet you will get lots of help from those that know your car well!

Hope we see your final choice next summer at one of our events!

kingjay, not trying to be smart here, but asking what type of rims to put on your car is like asking what is the best color on the vehicle. Everyone is going to have a different answer for you. Do some looking around in the galleries and see what other members have on their cars and see what looks best to you.

One thing that I will caution you on is it is sounding like you are wanting to go with 19 or 20" rims most likely. 2 things to ponder.

1) to fit most of the rims in this size, you will need to roll the fenders to make it work, so, is this money in your budget to make it happen

2) what is the condition of the roads in your area? This large of rim on the X-Type normally results in very little rubber between the rim and the road. This will make it much easier to damage a rim which can lead to replacement of the rims (this can get costly over time).

Not saying that you should or shouldn't. Just pointing out things that you may not have thought of.
