Default jaguar x type 2.0 goes into limp mode bang steering wheel dash lights go out

bought a jag x type today to break but it to good to break the only fault is when you drive turn a corner the heater-plug light comes on then the dash gauges drop bang or apply some pressure to the steering wheel and the dash gauges come back on turn the ignition on then back on its fine just wondered if any one else has had the same / similar problem cheers

Dave, It is sounding like you have a wire rubbing inside the steering column, leading to the instrument cluster going thru a boot sequence.

After disconnecting the airbag, set it off to the side away from anything that can be tossed. While it is not likely to release once removed, better to be safe than sorry.
