Jaguar X type 2.5 Hub Carrier Rear right
Hey folks I was looking for some help with my 2002 Jaguar X type 2.5 L. I am going about replacing the right rear Hub carrier (correct me if im wrong) Which is that thing that connects from the hub to somewhere under the side panel. On the right rear of my jag there is a clean break in the metal piece
. My question is what are the general steps. I am somewhat tech savy and from what I can see so far is remove wheel, caliper and brakes, un bolt lower control arm and other related suspension components, remove hub and axle and unbolt hub carrier arm that bolts someone under the side panel of car. I want to be aware of any weird steps before i spend 5hours under there and find out i need some speicality stuff. I dont think I need to replace the bearing.
I am probably gonna buy a used one considering new is super expensive.
Sorry I dont have any pictures to post but here is a link or two.
here is a link of the part (left side i need right) Jaguar HUB CARRIER CONTROL ARM LEFT REAR SUSPENSION - C2S49747
thanks, all help is appreciated

The replacing of the hub carrier arm is a pretty straight forward wrenching. It is recommended that the axle nut be replaced and not reused. If you foll this slink to Gus's ( a forum member) web site JagRepair.com - Jaguar Repair Information Resource
You can scroll down to the section Header Jaguar Spec Books.
You can download each of the books listed for a complete shop manual. Your needed information is in the the chassis section. Torque specs., etc. Attached is a better picture of the hub and its position.
I have attached 2 screen shots from SNG Barratt to show the position of the carrier when mounted.

Nice Nice! Thanks for the info. Now I just gotta locate a right side one. I keep seeing a bunch of Left or LH ones online. I'll definitely let everyone kno how i did over the next few weeks when I get around to doing it.
SNG Barratt is one of the forum sponsors. They list it as available. Here is a lin to the web page. https://www.sngbarratt.com/us/#!/Eng...a-0e13158197eb
So I was going over the steps in the guide it said I need a tool to pull the hub off..? I thought I would just remove the axle nut and remove hub retaining bolts and it would come off.
edit: also would I need to repack the bearing?
