can any one help my estate has 2ltr duratourqe engine i have fitted full new timing kit pluss 4 recon injectors done at my locale garage BUT when you try to acselorate up to 2000 rps it cuts out no smoke no rattle start up again you can drive faward and backwards but when you apply ecselorator it cuts out around 1800 to 2000 ???? can any one help

 

Your problem sounds like a fuel pressure issue.
Assuming you have fitted a new fuel filter, have you read any diagnostic codes ?

Check leak off on the recon injectors, excessive leakage will drop fuel pressure under demand.

Check the gap on the crank sensor, when it was removed to insert the timing pin if it was replaced slightly too far out it will give an issue exactly like that - assuming your description is accurate about RPM, dead cut out and not load based cut out..
Either replace with new (Denso not ebay special)) and insert all the way - they have a sacrificial tip, or insert the old one and back out 1mm then tighten the bolt.

NB this issue does not always generate a code and sometimes it generates one for the cam sensor despite the issue being with the crank sensor.
