The Uk jag forum has your answer, sorry it won't be as easy as you think. Here is the link to the answer.

If you decide not to do it let me know what you want for the touch screen

Yah, custom wiring harness is your biggest obstacle. I have read several posts where the guy who designed and installed his first on the UK forum makes them for members, for a reasonable price. The rest is a piece of cake.

Default Replacement touch screen with digital climate control

I have a similar problem that ajmoita has, but I would like to replace the original TS (touch screen), with my Alpine INA-W910R. But the problem with which I have faced is how to solve a problem with air conditioning, becouse air conditioning is operated via the display ...
Is it possible to buy original air digital console, which would be joined to the connectors from the original navigation, or is this process much more complicated than just "plug&play"?

Thanks for the help and answers! I apologize for my bad English
Rok
