How did you install the HID's in the Fogs? Did it need to be fabricated? I had the HID's installed on the main beams (Umnitza.com 6000K 55W), but the installer said he couldn't install them the fogs b/c of the mounting.

We just signed onto this forum thanks to a fellow member Keith.
We completed his X this last weekend and did it with a 55W kit, not the standard kits that are available everywhere.
Keith paid $250 + install and various other parts.
If we get 10 people interested, we could do the 55W - lifetime warranty - kit for $225 shipped. It's a 10% savings.
Additionally, does anyone have a photo of the fog light bulb housing? We attempted to do Keith's this weekend, unfortunately, the bulb - while an H1 - has a funky holder and I could not identify it as an 880 or something similar. Any pictures would be appreciated.

Welcome unmitza! What kit exactly are you selling? I'm not sure on protocol but doesn't seem like anyone else cared that you posted??? You should put some pictures of your installs in your picture album...
I only left it up because he did the install on one of the members' car.

Actually, the kits we sell are manufactured by the same company that manufactures all of Philips of Asia <-- only one factory does this.
It's located in Guangdong Province in China. to them, we are nobody as they make over 1M bulbs per month. Japanese bulbs/Korean bulbs go through this company as well as many German/European companies. We've been in the business a long time which allowed us access to this company...though I think it's because they are largely opening up traffic to the west more now than ever before.

Will do good to know...most car audio is the same way as well...power acoustik is made at the same plant that all of this product I was getting was made...md sound and konaki...amazing what you pay for the names!
BTW what exact name are they and what warranty do they have??? And is it covered if I installed them myself???

One last question...would you post some personal pics of the difference of the yellow 2-3k vs. the 5-6k? I would like a set for my headlight and a set for my fogs. I was thinking a little of a yellowish tint to the fogs and 6k at the most for the projectors/main beams...oh and how does the warranty work?
