Just installed HID's in my fog lights - SWEEET!
8000k HID's I'm very happy with the light output of the X-type now. Everything is very bright in front of me and crystal clear. Not to mention all of the compliments.

Yeah nice job xtype............nice blue white light....love it.
As said.......put it against a wall with lights on to show cut off line. post some pics and maybe a bit more of a write up with detail too.

Yeah nice...lets see them shining against the walls....you get a different running light instead of the stock little bulb? If so shows how blue the hids are...how much and where??? Any pics/write up for the faq section?
I'd honestly just take my batter out to get at the driver's side...perhaps have to deal with it on the pass. side but oh well! Some day will come! Hmmmm...baby formula or hids in the car???? Man that question plays in my head over and over and over....the formula always wins though!

You know that they say "breast is best" Aquill?
Convince the wife and then the money you save on buying baby formula can go towards your Hids

Everyone's a winner!!!

That venue has since dried up...should have rented a good one from the hospital but didn't and it was too late soon after...maybe on the next one! Definitely was easier as I didn't have to get up in the middle of the night and make a bottle!
I'd do anything not to have to get out of bed and wake up!

the hardest part of installing HID's is actually putting in the bulb. you cut and solder (or crimp if you're lazy) with the replacement wires and you have plenty of slack, install the bulbs, crimp and shove everything in with some twisties, its really not that hard and you only have to fight to get the new bulb in.
For main beams i really recomend 6k's, they are still blueish but emit alot of light, i have 8k's. while they look hot, they arent bright at all.
