My suggestion for HID fogs is to take the fog lights out of the bumper which can be done without taking the bumper off the car but is obviously easier with the bumper off. Use H1 HID kit and place the bulbs in the new housing. Then what I do is use soft clear silicone and glue the bulbs in place but I don't completely go to the top with the silicone I leave a little space. Let the silicone dry for the recommended time then use 3M duramix 4247 right on top of the silicone which dries immediately and dries hard as well. Now the reason for the duramix is for added strength and if and when you need to change a HID bulb you can simply crack the edges of the duramix with a pick tool, flat head etc.. and once the duramix is loose you can pull it out with the silicone as well as the bulb. I wouldn't use 4247 entirely because it would be more difficult to remove I just use a little bit on top. I can personally guarantee this method as I have done it twice in my car with no issues. I ran my first set of HID's with this method for over two years until a bulb blew and now I'm on my second kit with no issues for two years. I recommend soldering your connections and also removing the bumper. The advantage of having the bumper off is now you can easily mount your HID ballast. I have mine bolted in under the headlights. It's very difficult to mount the passenger ballast with the bumper on due to the windshield washer reservoir in the way. If anyone needs any advice let me know.
