Default just painted my leather

well what happened was my armrest leather cracked
so i orded a used one from ebay ,they only had a tan one
so i said for 15bucks ill paint it grey
it came out perfect match
i had garys auto paint in waterbury ct to scan the leather they mix the paint in a can and voila

ill be taking the handbrake boot and reafix it

next project will be doing the seats

That looks really nice, good job. I used the leather dye for mine and it worked perfectly to fill in all the cracks and look new again

while the weather is cool im going to pull the seats out and do them
try and make them look new again

Hey Dennis!! I see that the underside of your armrest is hollow. Is that normal? I have not had the opportunity to look at any other X-Types to check. Mine is hollow and it just doesn't look "right." Thanks! Bill

theres a rubber mat that fits in there i took mine out to paint it,
my original armrest was scaned to get the colour code then they put
the paint in a can...they matched it perfectly
if you have grey interior like mine i can give you the code and have
garys in waterbury ct mix it up for you....$35 a can, i still have a full can left for my seats

Just typed in jaguar leather dye on eBay. The color matched perfectly and good customer service. Came from the UK
