Hi, have x type 2005 2.5 awd. Key fob didn't work when bought. Got new battery, then new circuit board. Did key position 1 to 2 4 times. Get chime from car. Then no chime when pressing key button. So doesn't work. Does anyone know else I can try? Location of receiver etc, to check connections or anything.? Or any fuses with location that may affect this. Or anything else? Thanks.

I had good luck with a very inexpensive replacement fob from eBay. You are looking for European version that communicates at 433 kHz, not US version at 315 kHz, but the one I bought for only a few dollars was capable of both frequencies.
