Hi, I've recently bought an x type 2.5 awd 2005. The key fob didn't work so manually unlock the door and have to put key in quick becore alarm goes off. I tried resoldering 2 new microswitches, which were broken on original circuit board but didn't work! Fitted a new one from ebay. Has a new battery by the way. Put key in ignition and did the 1, 5 seconds, then 1 to 2, 4 times and get the first chime, but on removing key and holding any button don't get the second chime and fob doesn't work! Anyone got any ideas? Thanks Michael.
