Hello!

I drive Jaguar X-Type 3.0 V6 AWD Automatic. Recently check engine light came on along with "Cruise not available" message and limp mode (can't get RPM's over 3000).

I scanned the codes and I got P0333 and P1582. After a lot of reading I get that knock sensor has to be replaced.
I know that there are a lot of threads about knock sensor replacement and relocation but not one thread tells what kind of knock sensor has to be bought.
I red a lot that it costs about 30 $ and all that but I am from small country in Europe and I just can't find any knock sensor besides original one from dealer (160 euro + month long delivery) or ones that cost 120 $ + in ebay.

Recently I called parts seller (private), and asked him if he has knock sensor for X-Type, he said that he has and part number was 1S7A-12A699-BB. I am not sure if this will work on X-type.

Also there is one with part number AJ813101 witch is significantly cheaper here but with this one also I am not sure will it work on my X-Type.
Do anyone know will one of these knock sensors will work on X-Type? Or any other suggestions?
Also I would like to know what P1582 code means? As I understand, this code could come up just because my car was in limp mode. Am I right? Or there is another reason for this code to come up?

P1582 is for the flight recorder. IN short, if the problem meets certain criteria, the ECU will record a certain amount of data to help the technician troubleshoot the car. So, you can ignore that code unless you have a copy of SSD and can download the file.
