As you all know, I have become lazy, as well as mentally ill. I purchased a drivetrain warranty for my 07 X Type, and it came with 3 free oil changes a year, at any Jag dealer.

The first oil change resulted in me being questioned about the cold air intake I made, that draws it's air, from just below the bumper on the passenger side of the car. I went in for my oil change yesterday, and found that 2 mechanics copied what I did. I don't think it does much, other than brings in a larger volume of air, and gives you an added kick in the pants, when passing at highway speeds.

It was just kind of a fun thing, talking to techs that are 30 years younger than me, and exchanging ideas. They also liked my transfer case drain and fill plugs, that I put on. The weather is getting cold around here now, and we just had our first 4" of snow, so the X Types are coming out of the woodwork......pretty cool.......Have a great one......Mike
