Default Leaping cat?

I have a yearning for a Jaguar leaping cat on my bonnet (hood) but my x type is a 2.2d (2005). Does this make me a bad person? How many others have fitted one?

The Leaper on X & S types has had many posts. Seems the consensus is if you want a Leaper do it but most think it does not suit the car. Google some pictures and see what you think. Several posts were on how to take it off and repair the bonnet, usually cover the hole/holes with a growler badge.
Give it some thought before drilling..but the decision is yours, just passing on opinions. Then of course you have the legality of a Leaper/Bonnet ornament in the UK.
Hope this may help Supazach.

How about fitting one with double-sided 3M tape, the sort usually used to fix valances, small spoilers, badges etc? It is plenty strong, and you won't need to drill holes in the bonnet.
