Well, i confess. Neither I or my father are "Do It Yourselfer's" lol. So If I get 6000k HIDs about how much will the products be? Also, about how much will it be to have theminstalled? Whattemperature do new luxury cars come with? And on the subject of other lights, I have heard talk of LED lights. Which lights do these replace? Thanks in advance!

you can get a good HID kit for around $100. I believe factory cars are 5300 or so... the 6k is the best look IMO. as for the led lights they replace the small lights on the inside of the high beams (the two lights near the center of the car. where the high beams are at) you want to switch these because the ugly yellow one's won't match the nice bright HID's. See my photo below, fogs and mains are 6k HID's. The inner bulbs are Hyper white led's.

Wow your lights look great! I am hopefully getting an X in about a year. I plan on doing the LEDs and HIDs. Was it very hard to install the HIDs or LEDs? I have almost no tools so I might have a mechanic do it. How do these look? http://www.v-leds.com/Shop/Control/P...id/0/SFV/32481

no tools needed to do the leds. I would not get the ones you selected, check these out. They will reflect better. i tried these before but the would not fit.

6286............good advice from Jvegas .....he and a few others have done this conversion and know whats what.
Also check out the FAQ quick link at the top of this page for all info / posts on HIDS lights etc etc

Bo is right again (he must of found a job with the Royal CanadianGrammer police)..I used Advise mistakenlyinstead of ADVICE...+1 for Bo.

they pull right out. you get to them by removing the plastic cover in the engine bay.

he is talking about the 194 (w5w) bulbs inside the high beam housing.... or are you being sarcastic?
